What do you make of the saying that we will one day be able to travel faster than light? Every thing than runs on engine used to be Sub-Sonic before now but that is not the case anymore. Sub-sonic was the height but we now see Supper sonic in a faster form (Tri-sonic) .

Now think of what comes next, since we all travel at either sub-sonic or supper-sonic rate, it simply means that we are now in an era when we can simply say we travel at sub-Lumen speed. How long do you think it will take tech to bring us to a point when we will travel at Light speed or even Supper-lumen speed?

100 years? I don''t think so. Changes occurs faster than we think and the universe unleashes its wealth of ideas to individuals, a stream of techniques forms an awesome cluster of intelligence that may finally bust into an unprecedented tech level that will drive man faster than light and maybe beyond. Just a matter of time, many discoveries will be made, more than ever, we will see newer tech that previous.
